At the time, Croatian women wore distinctive red cut jackets standing out against the clean white lace of their blouses and aprons. A handful of floral embroideries decorated the bodies of these women. Their headdresses softly covered the back of their heads.
Women from Moslavina, a region of Croatia that includes Zagreb, wore white dresses finely embroidered with typical geometric designs. Ornaments and embroidery decorated the sleeves and skirts of these Croatian dancers who wore coral necklaces.
Taja, fashion designer of her brand Taja Fashionwear’s East Breeze collection, was inspired by this deeply rooted national history and by merging her creativity with history, she created the East Breeze collection. Bringing a breath of fresh air from Croatia in clothes for everyday wear but also for the long-awaited wedding day.
A historical feature of these beautiful brides were the coins sewn on the dresses, still present in this collection by fashion designer Tajana Sertić, in the “Wedding Duo” capsule, in a matching two-piece dress to be worn on the occasion that women all over the world have always dreamt of: marriage! East Breeze is all to be discovered, all to be worn, but above all all to be felt, both for its historical imprint and for the wonderful materials that are both bright and comfortable at the same time.
